Yo ho ho, Friday funkers! Thar blows a new FunkPanion update on ye horizon. Arrr!

With this comes a lot of changes and additions I hope you’ll like. Also, some bonus goodies, to thank you all for using and enjoying FunkPanion!

Before we get started, I’d like to mention the weekly updates FunkPanion’s been getting. This has been a coincidence, but now that I’ve noticed it, it’s official. FunkPanion’s versioning has been changed to reflect this, so this is version 24w49a.

First, hold animation looping. Some engines do it, some engines don’t. It’s a matter of what sprites you have, and since FunkPanion strives to be compatible with all of them, it’s my duty as the developer to accommodate.

Therefore, I’ve added a toggle to the config which allows you to switch between looping holds and static holds.

Second, goodies! I’ve given you a new menu to receive cool random stuff from me. From sprites, to funny configurations - what crazy things can be found within this menu???

For now, just sprites. Your first reward - some cool sprites I made of my sona this past week. This is the first time he’s been animated, and now you can make him dance like the stupid idiot he is!

If you wanna see more of him, you can head to FurAffinity, where he lives right now.

Third, bugfixes. I’m not going over this - you can see the changelog, right?

And that concludes this week’s update. Thank you again for using FunkPanion, and I hope to see you next week, where I am guaranteed to have made 0 new features. Now go plunder some booty!
